A 36-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a collision with an SUV in Perth East — a township west of Waterloo, Ont. — on May 8, 2026.

What Happened?
- The incident took place at the intersection of Line 47 and Perth Road 107 around 2pm ET on May 8.
- According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the motorcyclist was treated on scene by paramedics before being transported by Ornge air ambulance to a regional trauma centre.
- The SUV driver, an 87-year-old individual from Stratford, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for assessment.
