Is Dunkin’ Donuts Returning to Canada?

Yes — Dunkin’ Donuts is partnering with Foodtastic to open hundreds of locations across Canada.

The first store — the location of which remains undisclosed at this time — is expected to open in late 2026 or early 2027.

“We are committed to growing the Dunkin’ brand thoughtfully to meet the needs of Canadian guests and communities,” Peter Mammas, founder and CEO of Foodtastic, said in a joint news release on May 12, 2026.

The bombshell update comes after Dunkin’ closed its final 3 Canadian stores in Québec in 2018 — ending nearly 6 decades of operations in Canada.
