Sanofi Expanding “AI Centre of Excellence” in Toronto, Creating 50 New Jobs

Is Sanofi Creating More Jobs in Toronto?

YesSanofi is investing $294 million to expand its “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre of Excellence” in Toronto.

“Sanofi’s investment is a testament to Ontario’s leadership in the AI and life sciences sectors, reinforcing our reputation as the best place to innovate, scale, and succeed,” Vic Fedeli, Ontario’s minister of economic development, job creation, and trade, said in a joint news release.

“We look forward to seeing Sanofi continue to grow in the province, creating [50] good-paying jobs for our workers and producing essential medicines and vaccines for Canada and the world.”

The provincial government is supporting the biopharmaceutical giant’s expansion by allocating up to $5 million through the Invest Ontario fund.
