Articling Student – Calgary (2027-2028)
Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is a busy national litigation firm with offices in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa. Our lawyers specialize in employment law, as well as personal injury and insurance litigation.
We’re currently accepting Articling Student applications for the 2027-2028 term at our Calgary office.
Think you’d be a great fit? Responsibilities include:
- Legal document production (i.e. demand letters, claims, etc.)
- Conducting comprehensive research
- Handling the day-to-day carriage of Small Claims Court files under the supervision of a lawyer or paralegal
- Shadowing legal representatives at various appearances (i.e. mediations, motions, trials, etc.)
- Completing various administrative duties as needed

This position is hybrid, with the option to work remotely or from the Calgary office. For remote working, a reliable home internet connection is required.

- Excellent attention to detail and keen organizational ability
- Flexibility to work independently, or as part of a team
- The ability to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines
