Stellantis Temporarily Cutting 20 Salaried Roles at Brampton Assembly Plant
What’s Happening at Stellantis?
Stellantis temporarily laid off approximately 20 salaried employees at its assembly plant in Brampton, Ont. on March 6, 2026.
The automaker claims the move, which will remain in effect for 55 weeks, impacts those “who were unsuccessful in securing other positions and/or did not want to relocate within our Stellantis Canada operations.”
