Employment Lawyer – Vancouver

Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is a busy litigation firm with offices in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.

Our labour and employment practice in Vancouver is looking for a highly motivated and client-oriented associate who has 2+ years of civil litigation experience — preferably in employment law.

IMPORTANT: This ISN’T a position for newly called lawyers. Our ideal candidate will have a background as a plaintiff lawyer with contingency experience where possible.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• LL.B or equivalent
• Good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia (LSBC)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The aptitude to work independently while coordinating with other team members
• Excellent attention to detail
• The competence to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines
• Employment law experience is preferred

If chosen for this position, you’ll have the option to work remotely, in office, or in a hybrid working model.

We’re open to candidates residing anywhere in British Columbia. As a requirement for remote working, you will need:
