Woman, 61, Dead Following Pickup Truck Collision Northwest of Kingston

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision involving a snowmobile and a pickup truck in Loyalist Township — a community east of Napanee and northwest of Kingston — on Jan. 29, 2026.

What Happened?

• The incident took place on County Road 5, east of Newburgh Road, around 3:15pm ET on Jan. 29.
• According to OPP, the snowmobiler — a 61-year-old woman from Kingston — was pronounced dead at the scene.
• No injuries were reported for the occupants of the pickup truck.
