Employment Lawyer – Alberta

Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is a busy national litigation firm with offices in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and client-oriented associate to join our employment practice in Alberta. We offer a competitive compensation package for salary, bonus, and benefits — as well as paid time off and remote working.

Interested? The successful candidate:

• Has at least 2 years of experience as a plaintiff civil litigation lawyer, preferably in employment law.
• Is looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within a national law firm among a highly respected work culture and team.

If chosen for this position, you’ll have the option to work completely remotely, in office, or in a hybrid working model. For remote working, you’ll need a stable home internet connection.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or equivalent
• Good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The aptitude to work independently while coordinating with other team members
• Excellent attention to detail
• The competence to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines
