A pickup truck driver has been pronounced dead after a single-vehicle crash on the Loyalist Parkway near Wellington, Ont. — a community south of Belleville — on Oct. 13, 2025.

• The incident took place around 8:15am ET on Oct. 13.
• According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the driver of the pickup truck — a 69-year-old man from Quinte West — left the roadway and struck some trees.
• The man was found without vital signs and rushed to local hospital. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead.
