Pedestrian, 58, Dead After Crash in Windsor’s South Central Neighbourhood

On Sept. 23, 2025, a sedan and an SUV collided in Windsor’s South Central neighbourhood — claiming the life of a pedestrian.

What Happened?

• Windsor police said they responded to reports of serious collision at the intersection of Hanna Street East and Windsor Avenue.
• According to investigators, one of the vehicles drove through a stop sign and collided with the other vehicle — pushing the sedan and SUV into the northeast corner of the intersection.
• A 58-year-old man on the sidewalk at the time of the collision was struck. The pedestrian was rushed to hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
