Man, 46, Dead Following Head-On Collision Southeast of Ottawa

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal head-on collision near Casselman — a community southeast of Ottawa.
- Emergency crews responded to reports of a crash involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer on County Road 43 in Finch around 4:20pm ET on July 15.
- The driver of the pickup truck, a 46-year-old man from Kemptville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- No injuries were reported for the driver of the tractor-trailer.
- County Road 43 was temporarily closed between MacMillan Road and St Lukes Road.
