Two windsor residents killed in tractor-trailer collision in Lambton County

A tragic collision between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle at a rural intersection in Lambton County has claimed the lives of two Windsor residents. The crash occurred around 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Inwood Road and Courtright Line in Brooke-Alvinston, prompting a swift response from Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), fire, and EMS crews.
The driver of the vehicle, a 79-year-old from Windsor, was airlifted to the hospital but later pronounced deceased. The passenger, a 77-year-old, was declared dead at the scene.
Investigation updates
Following the accident, both Inwood Road and Courtright Line were closed for several hours as investigators worked at the scene. The roads have since been reopened.
