Michael Gerhard summered at a prominent insurance defence firm, and then went on to article at a leading personal injury firm, before joining Samfiru Tumarkin’s personal injury and disability practice group.
Prior to attending law school, Michael earned an Honours B.A. from McMaster University, majoring in philosophy and completing a senior thesis on constitutionalism. He then graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in 2013 and was called to the bar in 2014.
Michael has received numerous prestigious awards in the area of legal research and teaches a paralegal class on the subject at Seneca College.
Michael has successfully represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Municipal Board and the Ontario Small Claims Court.
In his free time, Michael enjoys traveling, creative writing and going to concerts.
