David Vaughan is a Partner with Samfiru Tumarkin LLP’s Labour and Employment Law practice group. David works with employers and employees with respect to all aspects of employment and labour law, including terminations, employment contracts, human rights issues, and restrictive covenants. David is well-respected by his colleagues and has a reputation for providing thoughtful, timely, and strategic advice to clients.

David has an established track record of successfully resolving wrongful dismissal and other legal claims and regularly represents the interests of his clients before Ontario courts and other administrative tribunals. David takes great pride in understanding the specific needs of his clients and representing them with both passion and vigour.

David articled with one of the top labour and employment law firms in Toronto and joined Samfiru Tumarkin LLP in 2012. David completed his law degree at the University of Western Ontario. Prior to law school, David completed both his Master of Arts degree in Political Science and Bachelor of Arts, Honours degree in Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University.

In his spare time, David enjoys playing hockey, reading, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
